Snails Around Britain - John Bosley

Detalii:

nAfter pedalling 7,000 kilometres around France and proving that slow travel is not only possible but also preferable (especially when food is involved), John and Kate return to the saddle for a new challenge: mainland Britain.n n nn nArmed with their tandem bicycle, a questionable sense of direction, and an unwavering belief that speed is overrated, only because the tandem is too heavy, they embark on a perimeter-hugging journey around an island thats equal parts charming and confusing. From the sheep-strewn hills of Wales to the pot-holed lanes of Kent, every mile is a celebration of the scenic route, the shared snack, and the occasional marital negotiation over places to stop.n n nn nSnails Around Britain is a travelogue for those who believe that adventure begins when you stop rushing. Its a love story, a comedy, and a gentle rebellion against the tyranny of haste.n
